• About AAMUN'25

  • Amman Academy Model United Nations (AAMUN) returns for its 2025 edition with unmatched ambition, vision, and resolve. This year, AAMUN’25 will be held from September 25th to 27th at the prestigious Ritz-Carlton, Amman, bringing together delegates from across the region for three days of high-level debate, diplomacy, and leadership.

The theme for AAMUN'25 is "The Hollow Mandate" — a bold exploration of the silence and inaction of those entrusted with power. Delegates will confront pressing global issues through the lens of accountability, confronting the consequences when mandates are granted, but not fulfilled. Whether discussing economic instability, international justice, or security threats, participants will be challenged to question the legitimacy of power and redefine responsibility in the face of crisis.

AAMUN’25 will feature eight diverse and engaging committees, each designed to provoke critical thinking and innovative solutions:

    • United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC)
    • United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC)
    • International Monetary Fund (IMF)
    • Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISEC)
    • International Criminal Court (ICC)
    • United Nations Security Council (UNSC)
    • Ottoman Imperial Council (OC) (Historical/Special Court)
    • The Ramstein Directive (Air Force Special Committee)

With its commitment to excellence in diplomacy, logistics, and inclusivity, AAMUN’25 promises an unforgettable experience that challenges minds, sharpens voices, and inspires action. Join us at the Ritz-Carlton Amman for a conference where mandates will be questioned, and legacies will be made.
